The Heart of Deception

Matthew 26:14-16
Then one of the twelve-the one called Judas Iscariot-went to the chief priests and asked, "What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?" So they counted out for him thirty silver coins. From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over. (NIVUK)

Sometime in our lives we have been the victim of deception. Rather it come from a family member, friends, co workers, spouse or someone you don't know.
We are lured into trusting and building relationship only to realize you been deceived. Well that's how Jesus feels when we turn our backs on Him because things are not going our way. We let our flesh get the best of us so we begin to put Jesus on the back burner and sell out to our hearts desires. Sometime people can become deceptive by going through life and going to church showing the love that God requires us to do, but yet they have a heart of deception. God wants us to be true to His word and follow His commandments. He does not want us to be deceitful and carnal minded or sell out to the ways of the world. We don't want to be a Judas by hearing and studying the word of God only to fit in, why all the while you have a heart of deception to sell out for the desires of the flesh. People don't miss the Kingdom of God by having a Heart of Deception. Let's not put our salvation with Jesus up for sale, let's be sell outs for JESUS because he is the way the truth and the light. God Bless
