Identity Crisis Within Yourself

ID?.jpg

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. (Psalm 139:14 KJV)

To be born into this life as a infant we had no idea who we were in our mother's womb, however, God knew who you were.  Yet, we go through life having an identity crisis about who we belong to.  Yes, we All have biological parents and as infants, we grew to know who our parents were through sense of smell, hearing, seeing, and touch. However, most people go through their Christian life not feeling, hearing, and knowing the touch of God. Some people are going through the motion by going to church Sunday after Sunday, week after week and still walk away not having experienced the touch or hearing from God. Therefore, we go through life having a identity crisis within our spiritual walk with God.

We can't alway go through life being pumped and pushed to praise and worship God. We have to get that sense of knowing who we are in God and from there you'll begin to know and feel the touch of God.  It's time for us to recognize who we are in Christ. This has to be a personal walk with God. We can't go through life having an identity crisis walking around lost in the wilderness of sin or not knowing who we are in God.

Psalm 139:14

I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works;

This scripture tell us who we are in God. So why would you walk around with an identity crisis when WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD.

The Microwave Effect

microwave.jpeg

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2 NIV

So many look to change their life and when they do they look for the microwave effect, the instant fix. However, it takes a lot more than just a quick fix. When we say yes to God we must be ready to go through the process of being fixed. It's like being in a slow cooker, a slow cooker cooks the meat from the inside out. Rom 12:1-2 talks about presenting ourselves a living sacrifice Holy and acceptable unto God. It talks about transforming which is making a change, not conforming to the ways of this world. Therefore when we surrender we are asking God to make the change. But just know it is a process. So don't be discouraged (or) stop fighting for you life in Christ. When the process is complete then we can look at the man in the mirror(self), we can see the process is being completed. Just know this is not a microwave effect, the instant fix. It is a change in progress.

Love and happiness

LABOR & DELIVERANCE

liftingcrate.png

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28 KJV)

Oftentimes we wake daily and go to bed daily with burdens and worries on our hearts. We carry them as if we are barring a child. This can control how we think and go about our daily lives and affect how we deliver God's message. The burdens we carry can be like a yoke around us that can destroy us in the natural and in the spiritual. We as Christians need to know that our daily burdens and worries must be given to God so we can go about our daily living in order for us to do what God requires. We need our witness to be a seed to those we are trying to reach. Therefore when we are serving God we must be in the right frame of mind so that when we speak we are planting a seed that will penetrate the very soul we are trying to reach. I say it's time for us to labor at our altars and be delivered from the burdens that is keeping us from going out and helping those that seek God. God said that if we come unto Him with our burdens He will give us rest. Therefore let us labor at our altars and let God be your deliverance.

God Bless!

Closer Than You've Ever Been

James 4:8 (NIVUK)

Come near to God and He will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

closepeople.jpg

The word tells us to draw near to God and He will draw near to us. He wants us to wash our hands, sinners, and clean your hearts, for those that are unsure on wanting to serve God or living the life of sin. He want us to stop the wavering and being double minded in our walk with him.

God wants a relationship with each of us, but we must first make up in our minds that we want to make Jesus our priority. Let's not make ourselves a target for the enemy by being unstable in our walk with God. YES! you can be kept in your walk with God,  but if you choose to live life anyway, you can cause yourself to fall out of the will of God. The song says I come this far by faith leaning on the Lord, trusting in His holy word, He never failed me yet. Saints, friends, Jesus will never fail you, continue to draw near to Jesus by reading your word daily and let it cultivate within your spirit and Jesus will draw near to daily as you seek Him.

We Are No Longer The Underdog

The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine. ’Saul said to David, ‘Go, and the Lord be with you.’ Then Saul dressed David in his own tunic. He put a coat of armour on him and a bronze helmet on his head. 39 David fastened on his sword over the tunic and tried walking around, because he was not used to them. ‘I cannot go in these,’ he said to Saul, ‘because I am not used to them.’ So he took them off. Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine. Meanwhile, the Philistine, with his shield-bearer in front of him, kept coming closer to David. He looked David over and saw that he was little more than a boy, glowing with health and handsome, and he despised him. He said to David, ‘Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks?’ And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. ‘Come here,’ he said, ‘and I’ll give your flesh to the birds and the wild animals!’ David said to the Philistine, ‘You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.’  As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly towards the battle line to meet him. Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell face down on the ground. So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him. (NIVUK)

underdog.jpg

In this scripture it looks as if David was the underdog. But David showed his faith in God by trusting that God would help him fight the battle, and when he put God first he was able to defeat the enemy. David was letting us know that when we trust God as he did, we can overcome any battle or situation. We should know the battle is not ours it's the Lords.

Often times we go through life wondering why we have to fight battles we really should not be in. But because we put self in the mix we push God aside thinking we can go to the front line and take care of the situation. That's when WE become prey and victim's of our own defeat! But I am here to tell you that no battle, trial or tribulation can be won without the Lord being on the front line with us, and being our strong tower. Let's stop being the underdog! Let's go into the battles, trials and tribulations knowing that we are OVERCOMER'S and knowing we are no longer the underdog. We have all power through Christ! and with power comes VICTORY! And with victory we become OVER COMERS. God Bless

Jesus Is NOT A Genie In A Bottle

James 4:2-3
You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. (NIVUK)

genie-lamp.jpg

Often time we seek God for a spiritual walk with Him, and then we have those that seek after God for personal gain. We live in a world that offers a great variety of pleasures. Sometimes we can become envious of others because we don't have what they have. Therefore we begin to want what they have because we feel we deserve it. There's times when people only seek God because they are wanting God to bless them. So they call on Him as if He is a genie in a bottle. But I am here to tell you Jesus is not a genie in a bottle. First of all God has given us liberty so why would we want Him to be locked up as if He is a prisoner. That's how He feels when we put Him away after He has bless us. We put Him in a bottle, as if He is a genie and only call Him when we want something. As you see, the scripture tells you that you have not because you ask not. However, we will not receive anything if we ask for the wrong reason. God said it is His pleasure to bless us, but yet we also must be abiding in God's will if we expect Him to give us want we need and not what we want, because of the wrong motive. We must remember that we have access to the name and our blessings can be unlimited if we keep God commandment. So remember Jesus is not a genie in a bottle that you can call on only when you want sometime. But remember the 10th commandment and the last part of that is thy shall not covet anything of thy neighbor's. Also do not covet for those things that is not if God. Remember Jesus is not a genie in a bottle. He does not grant us wishes,  He blesses us when we are following the commandments of God.
God Bless

The Covenant Of The Heart

heart2.jpg

Hebrews 10:16
"This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds." (NIVUK)

People of God! When God was talking to the people of Israel about putting His teaching in their heart and writing His word in their mind He had made a covenant with them, that He would be their God and they would be His people. This is what God wants for us. He wants to make a covenant with us by putting His word in out heart and in our mind. God has made this covenant so that we can remember His grace and His blessing that He has for us. We must follow the teachings of God on a daily basis as this will help us with our everyday living. God wants us to know that when we keep His word in our heart and mind that we can refrain from the unclean things of this world. When we accepted God in our hearts, we made a covenant with God by letting God know we would be obedient to His word. We must remember God is a God of His word and a God who gave His only Son for our sins. I would say, that was a true covenant of the Heart! All He asks of us, is to be obedient to the to the word of God. Saints let's hold true to our word and keep your covenant with God. God put in our hearts and minds the key to our salvation so that we can see Him again. This covenant God has given us was from His heart. And when He put his teachings in our hearts He was making that covenant that He is our God and we our His people. So let's be obedient to the word of God by applying this to our everyday living.

The Heart of Deception

heart.jpg

Matthew 26:14-16
Then one of the twelve-the one called Judas Iscariot-went to the chief priests and asked, "What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?" So they counted out for him thirty silver coins. From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over. (NIVUK)

Sometime in our lives we have been the victim of deception. Rather it come from a family member, friends, co workers, spouse or someone you don't know.
We are lured into trusting and building relationship only to realize you been deceived. Well that's how Jesus feels when we turn our backs on Him because things are not going our way. We let our flesh get the best of us so we begin to put Jesus on the back burner and sell out to our hearts desires. Sometime people can become deceptive by going through life and going to church showing the love that God requires us to do, but yet they have a heart of deception. God wants us to be true to His word and follow His commandments. He does not want us to be deceitful and carnal minded or sell out to the ways of the world. We don't want to be a Judas by hearing and studying the word of God only to fit in, why all the while you have a heart of deception to sell out for the desires of the flesh. People don't miss the Kingdom of God by having a Heart of Deception. Let's not put our salvation with Jesus up for sale, let's be sell outs for JESUS because he is the way the truth and the light. God Bless

The Power Of Our Weapons

II Corinthians 10:3-4

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish (NIVUK)

In today's world, life can be very hard. As we awake daily we are faced with life situations, trials and much more. Most often we try to handle things on our own by trying to fight our battles in the natural man. Most often people use weapons such as knives, guns or anything they can get their hands on to make sure they get the drop on you. Let's be real, we all know that using physical force or violence will only cause two things, either death or incarceration. However, we all know that our VICTORY is won by using our spiritual weapons that God has given us. With the power that we have in the weapons, we know they are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. The word of God is our strongest weapon as it gives us power to battle against the devils and his imps. When we use the word of God to help us fight we know that God has our back.

Eph 6: 11-19 gives us the power to be victorious and overcomer's of our daily trials, and the world as we know it in the natural. So Remember we have power in the word of God.

Mary Had a Little Lamb (Jesus)

lamb.jpeg

John 1:29

The next day John saw Jesus coming towards him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! (NIVUK).

Some may think of the song, "Mary Had A Little Lamb" that we would sing as children and still sing today. However, the Lamb I am talking about is the Lamb of God, who has come to free us from our sins. The song states that everywhere Mary went the lamb was sure to go. That is what the Son of God was sent to earth for, so that He can teach us how to live life Gods Way so that we can make it into the Kingdom of God. The word was given to us through His Son the (Lamb of God) so that it could be our road map to salvation. That little lamb trusted Mary enough that it knew to follow her. That is what God want us to do. He wants us to follow and trust His Son the (Lamb of God). He does not want us to go off on our own without the covering of the word. We must let Jesus be our pilot so that He can give us the teachings we need to see the Kingdom of God. Jesus does not want us to stray, he wants us to stay on the course which is our road map to heaven. You will find that if you are obedient to the word of God and follow the instructions God has given us, we will find that obedience will give us the power and knowledge we need from God to make into the Kingdom. So let's follow the Lamb of God (JESUS).
